On Saturday, August 27th, Hi Surf Streaming rescued a surfer from the shore break near Linda Mar Beach. The surfer, identified as 22-year-old John Doe, was caught in a rip current and unable to swim back to shore.

Hi Surf Streaming was notified of the incident at 2:30 p.m. and immediately dispatched a lifeguard to the scene. The lifeguard arrived within minutes and found Doe struggling to stay afloat.

The lifeguard used a rescue board to reach Doe and pull him back to shore. Doe was then taken to a nearby hospital for evaluation. He was treated for minor injuries and released later that day.
