Tottenham Hotspur thrashed Aston Villa 4-0 to move within two points of their Champions League rivals as Unai Emery's side imploded after John McGinn's second-half red card.
McGinn was sent off for a reckless challenge on Richarlison just after the hour mark, and Tottenham took full advantage with two goals in the space of six minutes from Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Oliver Skipp.
Heung-min Son and Dejan Kulusevski added further goals in the closing stages to seal a comfortable victory for Tottenham, who now have 54 points from 25 games, two behind fourth-placed Manchester United having played one game fewer.
Villa, meanwhile, remain 11th with 31 points from 24 games.
