Bucks Injury Report Today

Bucks' Giannis Antetokounmpo Ruled Out for Game 3 with Knee Injury

Antetokounmpo Suffered Injury in Game 2

The Bucks are facing an uphill battle in their first-round series against the Miami Heat after losing their best player to injury.

Giannis Antetokounmpo, the reigning NBA MVP, suffered a right knee injury in the second quarter of Game 2 on Friday night. He exited the game with 11:13 remaining in the first quarter and did not return. The Bucks went on to lose the game 113-108.

The Bucks announced on Saturday that Antetokounmpo is officially out for Game 3 of the series, which will be played on Sunday night in Milwaukee. The team did not provide a timeline for his return.

Antetokounmpo is averaging 33.9 points, 14.7 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game in the playoffs. He is the Bucks' leading scorer, rebounder and assist man.

The Bucks will now have to rely on their other stars, Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday, to step up in Antetokounmpo's absence. Middleton is averaging 22.5 points per game in the playoffs, while Holiday is averaging 18.5 points and 6.5 assists.

The Heat are a tough opponent, even without Antetokounmpo. They are the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference and they have a lot of experience in the playoffs. The Bucks will need to play their best basketball if they want to win this series without their best player.
